PURPLEWOOD HILL
This interactive installation was set up during the release of Purplewood Hills, a novel by Nina Kramer. Visitors could bring one of three characters -visualized by printed 3D models and equipped with RFID tags- to a location from the book, and hear them tell part of the story corresponding with that location.

THE CLOUD
The Cloud tells a story of small collections of data growing into 'Big Data', visualized by the condensation of raindrops which, in time, turn into a thunderstorm of data. As people walk past the Cloud they notice the raindrops and small changes in the Cloud's lighting, until other people start joining in and contributing to an orchestra of raindrops and light. Curious as to how this played out? Check out it's first appearance during the 2016 Natural Interfaces-exposition at Breda Central Station right here.

WHITE LIGHT
Using your phone as a controller, as well as your in-game interface, White Light creates a unique setting in which players are being disrupted by their controller. While we don't notice messages and social media halting whatever we do when we're on our phones, stepping back and realizing how much time is spent might lead you to realize how you're always running late and finish things up at the final minute. White Light was designed for middle-schoolers in their graduation year to spark a conversation on social anxiety. Our designbrief can be downloaded here.

'MOOI'
The 911 (or 112 in The Netherlands)-emergency offices had tasked me and colleagues to think of a way to improve communications between 911-correspondents and civilians in case of emergencies. These days people only think of apps and client-side ways to improve on the speed and accuracy of emergency calls. So we designed a data-manager from the ground up in only a couple of days.
